About the role
The Implementation lead will work closely with Account teams and the Consulting Lead to support the
successful delivery & execution of projects identified within the Customer Value Plan. Due to the longer term
nature of these deals it is also necessary to support the identification and implementation of new
projects over the life of the deal to support positive renewal outcomes.
Works with account teams and Consulting Lead to:
Ensure the Customer Value Plan is executable, including ensuring sequencing of projects
so they can be delivered successfully.
Develop comprehensive implementation plans with both customer and firm
responsibilities, owners, and timelines, including adoption and migration by the customer.
Manage multiple execution streams across customer (and partners where
applicable).
Report (internally and to customer) on progress of the value realization by the customer.
Engage with senior customer stakeholders to ensure execution across the firm and
customer.
Share best practices for execution with customers (e.g. change management plans).
Identify new opportunities for value creation through expanded use of content and
services.
Manage feedback loop with Customer Proposition & Product to ensure delivery of agreed
roadmap enhancements for Platform customers.
Support the sale of terminal subscriptions by demonstrating the value of our
execution/implementation model
This role will be initially responsible for 11 Access customers but may grow in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
For customers and the firm to benefit from the incumbent for this role, we will need implementation plans that result in the customers’ increased adoption of the terminal products and content.
It will be the responsibility of the Implementation Lead role to develop and execute on those plans across a range of projects.
The Implementation Lead will:
Develop comprehensive implementation plans with both customer and the firm's
responsibilities, owners, and timelines, including adoption and migration by the customer.
Lead multiple execution streams across customer and the firm, including;
Balance multiple execution streams across customer and internal partners, including
New/innovative use cases (e.g. new applications using content)
Taking a lead on migrations from driven products, and professional services engagements
to support value realisation
Expanded use of content (increased number of users, new usage rights, broader use of
data by existing users, etc)
Displacement of competitor products and solutions
Professional services engagements to support the Access value realization
program
Partner engagements to support the Access value realization program
Engage directly with C executives at the customer to ensure execution across the firm and
customer
Identify new opportunities for value creation through expanded use of content and
services
Lead feedback loop with Customer Proposition & Product to ensure delivery of agreed
roadmap improvements for Platform customers.
Skills and Attributes:
Experience from within a large financial services firm and ideally have worked within a data
vendor, banking or a leading consultancy
Ability to engage with CTO, CIO, Head of Market Data, Head of Development, Head of
Business Unit / Desk
Strong program and project management skills, especially running large scale programs
across multiple divisions or a firm or across multiple businesses (e.g. vendor + customer,
vendor + partner)
Experience running IT transformation programs
Understanding of financial content and capital markets enterprise data/information models.
Familiarity with either or (ideally) both firm level products and content, or competitive
products and content (Bloomberg, Factset, ICE Data, etc).
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to credibly building trusting relationships with key stakeholders such as proposition
teams, customers and other market participants.
