Role : The role is with a boutique Investment Management firm which provides sophisticated Investment Advisory Services to Institutional Investors and Family Offices. The firm has experienced and demonstrated understanding of Traditional Markets Asset Classes and they excel particularly with their clients offering investment ideas in the Digital Assets (Cryptocurrency) space. Runs actively managed Systematic Multi Asset, Multi Region Discretionary fund portfolios focusing on Alpha creation and niche Beta Strategy Investment Solutions in the Cryptocurrency and Digital Assets Space.
What are we looking for?
- Ideally 10+ years in an investment related role in AM, WM; including experience working with
senior leaders; in a global working environment
- Prior experience at developing systematic strategies (low to mid frequency)
- Solid grip on multiple asset classes, global market trends and investment themes, and products
- Team leadership experience
- CFA/CAIA would be a plus
- Experience at helping build cloud based solutions will be a plus
- Ability to prototype investment models, rules and strategies on pine script and python
What will you do?
- Support the Investment Solutions of clients and parent firm in developing
and managing investment products and mandates.
- Support 3rd party clients in investment management of their strategies
Core Responsibilities
- Investment Strategy and Research
o Follow markets and generate ideas for low/freq strategies combining ETFs, futures and options
across asset classes.
o Prototype ideas on excel, trading view and python
o Work with quants and research to develop and backtest ideas
o Run paper portfolios and co-seed portfolios where interests align
- Cross Asset Product/Portfolio Management
- Support portfolio ramp-up and ongoing management, with a focus on analytics and rules based
approaches as opposed to discretionary management.
- Stakeholder Management
- Work with all stakeholders – clients, vendors, research, MO, tech and quants to deliver an
efficient investment process.
- Marketing and Strategy
o Support the positioning of strategies and participate in the marketing pitches
o Develop and update presentations on ad-hoc basis for sales teams
o Engage with Twitter and Linkedin audience to position offerings & investment capabilities
Products managed/supported together with team
o Short volatility strategies on Crypto and Equities
o Tail risk protection strategies on Crypto and Equities
o Smart Beta strategies
o Global Macro strategies
