Profile
Recruiting a data integration engineer; who is knowledgeable in the full data integration lifecycle in a complex and demanding commercial environment. The engineer will be part of a global team responsible for the ingestion, management, provision of both market data, and fundamental data; for the use of business analysts, data scientists, traders and applications such as dashboards and trading systems.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities
Data ingestion / integration, ETL/ELT data pipeline design, data modelling, data provisioning
Python, SQL
AWS data stack (E.g. S3, Redshift, EMR, Glue, Athena)
Experience with data related to commodities, financial markets, power generation, weather or shipping would be an asset.
Abilities, Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related subjects
AWS certifications are a plus
Understanding and experience implementing software engineering best practices
Key Relations and Department Overview
The Data Science and Engineering team researches, develops, and provides advanced analytics and data services to the trading business, and other commercial operations.
Commercially driven, front office aligned team that works in close partnership with the trading desks, global research and enterprise technology
